How long do you let earrings sit in alcohol to clean?

I want to give a pair of my earrings to my friend, but i don't remember if i wore this pair or not (i have multiple of the same kind) So i'm letting them sit in hydrogen peroxide to get rid of germs just in case. is there a specific amount of time that is best to let them be in the alcohol for?
