Ron Paul for 2012 - How likely is it, now that he has received 40% of the votes in a straw poll?

Hmm. I only saw him on the CNN debate and I was pretty impressed, despite my liberal democratic views. I think he SHOULD catch up to and beat Mitt Romney, although I don't know if he will. I really admire Ron Paul, and even though I still support President. Obama for 2012, the thought of Paul running the country doesn't upset me like the thought of Newt Gingrich, Bachmann, or Palin does.
