How do I get my Motorola Blur to connect?

I just got this phone an hour ago. I'm trying to set up the blue tooth with one of my other phones. It will PAIR but not CONNECT. There is NO option to connect. Each time I push the menu button, it just has the option to search, but NOT connect. PLEASE help me with this one!?
