Advice on how to become a Diplomat.?

well, there's Georgetown of course, and SAIS, if you can get into one or the other. there's no requirement to go to either. you still have to pass the exam, and you don't get extra brownie points for a degree from upper league schools. if you're not sure if you can make it or not, what's your fall back plan? volunteering, languages, experience overseas are all good things.
